The medical profession in Manitoba has been self-regulated pursuant to provincial legislation since 1871. The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba (“the College”) is the statutory body responsible for maintaining standards of medical practice within Manitoba through the administration of The Medical Act, Regulations, and related By-Laws, including the Code of Conduct.
